Blocks may look like an unusual piece of circus equipment but these blocks are lightweight, colourful and easy to hold. Using them can aid dexterity, coordination and strength.  

In this video we will show you exercises using one or two blocks depending on mobility. For more of a challenge we’ll walk you through an exercise using pressure to move the blocks, alongside a partner or a larger group.

We’ve found that blocks are one of the most popular pieces of equipment in our circus workshops. There’s so much you can do with them and we’ve included some of our favourite games in the video. See what ideas you can come up with!
